Sweet Sixteen

Here is a sweet sixteen cake I did for a co-worker's cousin, Isabel. This one was a first for me because it was a tiered buttercream and fondant details. I have done tiered but not buttercream. I didn't have as many issues as I though I would but then again I had my mom, the buttercream queen help me out a lot. Thanks mom! 

The sweet 16  colors were Turquoise and white with some purple. And her invitations had butterflies on them. I while back I took a class for gelatin butterflies and bows and knew when I found out there were butterflies on her invitations I wanted to do the gelatin ones (they seem more real then fondant ones to me) for the cake. Isabel also wanted zebra pattern on her cake.
